Japan Makes History With Second Asteroid Landing To Scoop Material From The Dawn Of The Solar System Japan’s Hayabusa-2 spacecraft has successfully landed on the asteroid Ryugu for a second time, firing a projectile into the surface in the process and hopefully kicking up material into a collector that will return to Earth.
